my score was 430 - what does that mean? The only thing that it states on the site is that the average score is 500. All I want is "pass", Is this a good sign?
please can anyone shed some information?

It means that you will probably score in the 190-202 range. I scored 430 on my NBME too but I ended up with 219/88 on the actual exam. So your scores could mean alot or nothing at all. It also mean that you probably won't fail.

Hello,
Guest you said you scored 430 on NBME and did better on the actual exam than would be predicted by the nbme alone. My question to you is, do you think that you took the NBME early, such that you had plenty of time to study before the actual exam to improve your score? My general feeling is that ppl take the NBME 3-4 wks before their exam (like I did), but that is why I am asking. Thanks.

Yes, I took the NBME practice test 15 days before the actual exam and I focused mainly on topics I wasn't too sure about. You're doing good, keep it up and you will be rewarded.
