Knapsack

Anyone know if we should bring a knapsack to the island ? Do we need 1 for class?

I cant imagine carrying anymore with me to grand cayman...but if I must I will.
Someone please shed some light on what students tend to bring to classes other than their labtops...thanks a bunch

By knapsack I guess you mean a backback or messenger bag type thing. I tend to carry a laptop bag and a backpack to classes. My laptop bag doesn't hold much more than a few folders and pens definately no books or binders. So I guess it would depend on your laptop bag. As far as packing a backpack I used mine along with my laptop bag as my carry on items so I actually had more room to pack stuff in.

how much room can a bookbag take in your luggage? so better bring it, its better than if you realize it later on, but you would have to buy one, which costs more and dont forget that it doesnt only cost more money, but caymanian dollars are equal to 1.2 of US dollar, so it will be even more money spent.

so people don't bring binders and books with them to class? If students do have binders and notebooks what kind is most common, or most efficient. do most students take notes on their labtops? Thanks guys!

I did not even get to start school, but I can answer that just by intuition.
I think if you type fast and were always dealing with laptops :lol: ( sorry I had to correct you qnguyen), then thats the way to go. I dont remember using a binder with looseleaf anywhere else except when I was in high school, so I got alot of 3 subject notebooks and will be using them.

you place them in your bookbag and then shuffle them inside and when you start pulling them out to study, just pray and hope that they will be all in order

what i find great is you DL the lecs in class (gotta have that wireless for more then AIM and spear toss game) or the night before, then as the prof talks you type all the crap he says as fast as possible in the note area in powerpoint. that way you can keep your notes uniform with the slide that he is talking about. as for knapsack, if the person was talkin about a lunch bag there is a great sushi place, a great american place and a few others right next door to the school.
