A physiology question on my board

Here is another question that I remembered on my board.

The question asked me if parietal cells were stimulated what they released. I know they released hydrochloric acid but this was not one of the choice. The choices are intrinsic factor, somatostatin, CCK, and gastrin. I guessed gastrin.

Are you serious in telling all this or kidding.?I cannot believe that a person appearing in USMLE 1 and not knowing that parietal cells secrete both intrinsic factor and HCl acid. and Gastrin by G cells.

Stop being so critical. You don't have to know everything to appear for step 1. Do you know everything?
