hi everybody,
i took the exam yesterday,i can tell you that it was a very hard day for me.i was very anxious and stressed,i didn't know if i've studied enough, but once i started, everything seemed much easier.
you know that everyone says the test is doable, and it's true(you will understand once you'll take it).
kaplan helped me a lot, specially in physiology, behavioral ,microbiology and pharmacology.for pathology i recommand that you listen to goljan lectures, and read his notes(very very high yield).
now the test:
most of the questions were on pathology, specially nephrology.with lots of slides(so i recommand that you go through first aid, it's very helpful)
pharmacology:you have to know everything about drugs (SE, MOA, clinical uses...)it"s very easy when you know it, because its just straight forward,so dont miss pharma questions.
anatomy:i got questions about neurology, GI, w/ pic and ct (so know the CT scan and all the pictures if you can) i had no histo pic!
physiology:most of it about nephrology, some repiratory and cardiology(know the graphs very well before the exam, very very important!).
micro:few questions about bact, vir .
biochemistry:a lots of questions about enz path,in some questions they gave me the entire pathway and asked me what enz is deficient..
few questions about molecular biology.
behavioral:know ethics and epidemiology well.
of course in some questions i didn't know what they were talking about and what they were asking for, if u see this kind of questions don't waste your time trying to answer( u won't be able to do it even if u have enough time) so just guess and quickly move to the next question.
all right that's it for now.i hope that i will have a good score.
good luck for everybody
