Hi, I was wondering if we really need the Principles of Human anatomy by Tortura book. It is really expensive and heavy. i understand that it's a text book, how closely do the professor follow it or does he/she even use it at all? and do the BRS books help with the classes or is it only for the boards? Do you recommend studying for the steps along with the classes?Any info will be greatly appriciated!

Thanks

get the books on my list and you will be ok...as for BRS they are invaluable! remember the focus here is clinical aspects....

i spoke to one girl at school, she's a second semester already there, she said that she didn't even buy books for her second semester, that's how helpful the lecture notes are.
so definitely get BRS, I got all of them, and I just looked through anatomy one, it explains everything and focuses only on the important stuff.
