Shipping Costs for Books

Anybody has an idea what would be the least expensive way of shipping my books to DR from USA???

How quickly do you want to get them there. I would never use the post office, they lost a book I had sent over here. Use FedEx or UPS, in which case you're looking at a fat chunk of money depnding on how many and hwo heavy the books are. You will also pay taxes once they arrive in the DR. On about 150 dollars worth of books that I had sent I payed about 40 dollars in taxes, you do the math. There is no best and cheapest way other than bringing them with you on your next trip back from the USA.
