I was just wondering whethere there is anybody from Africa studying in Saba at the moment or will be joining in September '04 or January 2005.

There's a girl in my class who's from Africa - Kenya I believe.

I think there are some more but they're not in my class so I'm not sure.

Thanks...please ask the lady where she is from exactly whether Kenya or elsewhere in Africa. If she comes from Kenya, suprise her with this greeting, "Habari yako?" That is just to say "How are you?" in Kiswahili language. Please confirm and let me know.

By the way, I thought you might pass by in Memphis on your way to Ok' City in Aug...would have loved to meet you, but you have decided to fly away!!! Wanted to hear your "sea stories" or are they "Rock stories." We'll see! Thanks.

I'll try to remember, but I'll only see her at final exams before we leave, so I'm not sure I'll remember the phrase. :P

I'm flying from Nashville to OK City - my brother bought me a ticket at the last minute because they'll already be there.

Thanks...and here's wishing you the best in your exams (hope you've been studying hard)! No problem if you cannot remember the phrase but at least ask him/her and confirm where she/he comes from...definitely after exams. BTW when are your final exams?

As for your OK city trip, I think we could talk on phone later on when you are already there in OK or after you come from there...or what sayeth thou? Thanks and good luck!

I talked to her, confirmed it was Kenya. She may get on here and talk to you herself - I'm not sure. :P She read your message too.

Waw, the school seems very diverse indeed with students from most continents represented there. Would like to hear from these students from Nigeria and Kenya...just wanna ask them their experience.

Thanks S 8) for your efforts in tracing the student from Kenya, and thanks also to Rearchingguy frop tracing the person from Nigeria. Hope to read there threads on this forum soon.

Well, it is about 3 months and I'll be at Saba...cannot wait to be there!
