loan checks

when we get our loan checks at Grenada, how do we cash them? Do students usually deposit the checks into their own accounts back in their home state?

If you dont have an account in grenada see if the school will mail it to your permenant adress and have your parents deposit it so you can use the money using your atm. The check usually if you get it in Grenada will come a few days after you register or when you register or in my case 4-6 weeks after the term started almost every term. So always have money available, either cashiers checks or plenty in your US account for you to use just incase this happens to you.I dont think you want to cash that check its too much cash you have to carry around or worry about so deposit it in an account (US if possible less headache than creating account in Grenada)
