If leupride is used continuously, what is it used to treat?

Options include ovarian cancer, prostate cancer, cervical cancer and 2 more options.

It is prostate cancer which is hormone dependent and in it leuprolide is as effective as diethylestillbestrol.

Thanks, I chose that answer but I wasn't sure if you use it pulsitile way or continously.

If you use leuprolide in a pulsatile manner it resembles normal hormanal controle and releases the FSH and LH .When given continuously it inhibits then FSH and LH release. This is what is required. I think so.Problably it is called medical orchidectomy.If some other person has got some more ideas about please bring forward.It is a good question

Since Lupron is a long acting GnRH analogue I can see continuous treatment inhibiting Prostate CA which supposedly is dependent on dihydrotestosterone or testosterone.
I agree its also used to Rx endometriosis.
Doesnt DES have numerous adverse affects??
