Hey everyone,

Well I am 2 years shy of graduation and I'm in a rough spot for finances. I was considering the TeriLoan option, but I don;t have a co-signor. I am not a US resident. Does anyone know any other options I can try? The way things stand now, the only other thing I can do now is withdraw..and after all the struggle to get here that;s not really a step that I think any of us would like to be faced with.

Thanks,
ApoNeurosis

You could try Ed-Invest, but they require a co-signer below 650 or 600... Good luck, I know it would suck to have to pull out of school now.

did you mean above 650? i am in the same situation...My co signer make less than 25000 a year even though she has great credit history I got denied by Ed Invest. I am frustrated but I am not going to give up until all resources are exhausted.
Aponeurosis, try to:
1)look for another cosigner 2) inquire about home equity Loan if you or parents own a house 3) try MedAchiever.
I feel your pain.
Good Luck

The problem with Ed-invest is that not only does your cosigner need a good credit history but also a debt/income ratio less than 40%. Teri has less strict requirements and a debt/income ratio of less than 50%. I got denied this year with my father as cosigner because he was my cosigner the previous year and thus exceeded the debt/income ratio. I found a new cosigner and got approved. Good luck to everyone. I feel your pain. I suffered it for about a month not knowing if I could keep on going...
