I know that Ross and many other US schools require you to rent or buy your own microscope, yet I haven't heard anything about that from SGU is it possible that the school actually supplies them for you and I can save $700 ???

I'm pretty sure we don't have to buy them. We would have heard about it FOR SURE by now if that was the case!.

No, you don't have to buy or rent microscopes. You can't take slide boxes out of the histo lab anyway. You'll soon find out when the "slow" times are in the lab, and you'll be able to go and look at slides then (although you'll have an atlas and 2 CD's with great pictures of just about everything, not to mention "HistoTime" on the library computers).
Oh, and you don't have to buy or rent a human skull for anatomy either... of course, if you already have one in your freezer or under the floorboards, it'll save you from having to share!
