Has anyone here set up his/her own private practice, hopefully in some kind of primary care? I was thinking of doing that after I am done with school/internship/residency/fellowship and I was wondering there were any difficulties in the startup. I know being from a Caribbean school does not exactly have potential patients lining up around the block. If there are added difficulties (aka, extra insurance fees, limited hospital admitting rights, etc), please let me know so I can try to plan in advance. Thanks.
