Application essay

I have a question on the essay topic of "Please discuss the most significant issue facing the future of health care delivery in the country you intend to practice in" .

Is this just supposed to be a fact based essay or is it asking for an opinion and we have to express our owm personal thouhgts and feelings. I am just having a hard time understanding this.

Any help would me much apreciated. Thanks.

best bet is to call Bayshore and ask them.

I remember this essay being quite short, and I exceeded the limit by about 100 or so words (Bayshore said it was okay).

I used references, but then again, I actually enjoyed writing it :shock:

I asked some of my roommates about this last term, and they said they based it on opinion, and one used 2 references for some facts.

If you really have questions, maybe call your advisor at Bayshore. I based mine on opinion and it was about 3/4 of a page. Came out nicely with real world examples.

I actually wrote mine like a thesis... Made an argument (opinion), backed up with cited facts. I think it was a little overboard, but it wasn't that hard because it was something I was passionate about and had researched/written a lot about in college. As others have said, check with an admissions counselor to see what they want.

They want to make sure that you dont say you want to take over the world or some outrageous nutty plan like that!
