Hey,
I am about to start 3rd year in a 6 year program in Poland. I was thinking about transfering to SGU because I'm from the islands and my school in Poland offers no opportunity for clinical rotations anywhere but in our city in Poland. This concerns me immensely and I'm considering transferring to SGU for better USMLE prep and the opportunity for rotations. Not to mention the cold is killing me. I already have an application for transfer in with SGU and am just waiting for my transcript from Poland. What is the general opinion about whether I should transfer?
Should I? Or should I keep myself quiet for 4 more years in Poland.

SGU will not let you transfer into the clinical years. I would contact sgu first; you may have to repeat some basic sciences. But please be aware that when you are in year 3 of six its probably like the first year of a 4 year school in which case you may be ok; please contact sgu directly.
