View Full Version : Scrubs and stuff...
Hey everyone! I seem to have misplaced the letter from SGU that says that we have to buy scrubs and...stuff...
Does anyone know the details regarding how many pairs of scrubs and surgical gloves to buy? Also, are there certain specifications regarding the gloves and scrubs?
If anyone can tell me what the sheet listing all these items is called then that would be GREAT!
Thanks!

I similarly asked about scrubs and gloves. You do have to buy them.
Seems people order 2 sets of scrubs and 1-2 sets of gloves.
Check out other threads on this for details.
Good place to buy is www.allhearts.com (cheap scrubs and gloves).

I think the actual link is www.allheart.com (singular) and yea, they seem to have the best prices. Just ordered my gloves. I can understand buying our own scrubs, and I realize that you have to buy your own gloves at any med school but that still seems a little ridiculous.

Hey all,
If you're still needing to buy scrubs, they sell 'em fairly affordable
at the U of T bookstore (22.99 /pair CDN).
Cheers,

U of T has them? Oh SWEET!!
Thanks everyone!

hey peeps. i just wanted to add that for other things besides scrubs, like household items or day to day items, don't forget to visit a 99cent store. it may seem like a joke, but you can get manyyy of the things you need for decent prices. my friend who has been dorming at another school told me how much he bought from a 99cent store and you can't even notice the difference in quality. so, stuff like plastic plates, cups, or even something as random as a nail clipper, i'd check out the 99cent store.
cheers.

99 cents? And I thought going to the dollar store was a good deal. Anyways, 75% of the cups and knives I bought there broke, so just be careful what you get :-)
