Hi everyone,

I am heading to St. George's this fall for my first term. I just found out that I will be living on the Grand Anse campus and I was curious if I would have to lug all my books, binders, laptop, etc. to and from campus everyday. What is the daily course schedule like? For example, do we have lecture for anatomy, histology, biochem, and embryology every day of the week or only certain days. Similarly, what will the lab schedule be like?

Also, does anyone have any info about whether lockers are available on the True Blue Campus? And, if no lockers, what do people do with all their stuff throughout the day?

As a side note, this site has been tremendously helpful to me in preparing for the big move from California to Grenada. Thank you all for your wonderful insight!

Hey Kacie9,

You can check out the daily schedule for classes if you log into the Member's Center on the SGU website and follow the Class Schedules Link under the heading Support and Services. :)

You wont have all the classes everyday. Majority of your lectures will be biochem and anatomy (they are worth more credits) and you have labs 2x a week for 4 hours each. So you wont have to worry about carrying every book around.
I dont believe they have lockers so you will have to carry your things around or find some friend on campus and leave things at his/her place.

Aside form that you can log in like the above poster mentioned to get a detailed schedule.

Good luck!

The bookstore offers a storage service where you can leave your extra things during the day...

I thought they shut Grand Anse down at the end of the past term and are housing everyone at True Blue!

I just heard that the only lockers available are at the gym... So, that could be another option.

They say that every term.... for this term it is still open.
