What is it that most people use for phones in Grenada? I mean, what is the wisest thing to do. Is it to get a phone plan and phone there? My only concern is that when I come home to Buffalo for christmas breaks and summer, I want to still be able to use my phone. Is this practical, or will it be a rediculous cost. What do most of the students do?

See if your phone company will allow a seasonal hold (Nextel does)... Basically you only pay $5/month to keep your US acct active (and your phone number) rather than the usual cost....

I went to UB; hit me up with an IM (ILUVTPMORE) if u went there. Id be interested to talk to u. Anyway, I dont have a phone yet. I was waiting to get one in Grenada seeing as that is where I will spent most of my next two years. If I got one here, wouldnt the cost of using it down there be nuts?

hey I went to Canisius College not UB. I wished I had gone to UB though, but thats another story. Anyways yeah that is really going to be expensive phone wise, but I guess if you use it limited you will be fine. I mean you always have instant mess, and email available to you.
