Few questions for those current students:
1) I know there are laundry facilities in the dorms. Are they free of charge or do they need coins? If so, US $ or EC?
2) The book list for 1st term includes Microsoft Office Student edition. Is it the current edition? The reason I ask this is b/c I just purchased the 2003 edition myself and need to know if I should return it.
3) Military scholarship-post grad.
I applied for an air force and navy HPSP scholarship but they do not qualify for Non US schools. Having read earlier posts, I know there is a military scholarship for students completing US residencies. Do all of the branches have a scholarship?
Thanks.

1) They are free of charge.
2) Any microsoft edition is fine you dont need a specific one like the student edition. I had XP.
3) I believe all the branches have a reinbursement plan after residency. You can also join the reserves and get money to pay back loans just not as much.

Concerning the booklist that was sent out to all August 1st Termers, Microsoft Office is on the list of books already purchased by the school. The software, I guess, includes word, excell, powerpoint. I just purchased the software myself and would like to return it if in fact the school has already ordered it for us. I called the school and no one seems to be able to answer my question. Can someone help me???
Thx.

I don't know if that's gonna work since the school already has all the 300+ books and software ready to hand to you when u get there. I wish u could tell them, since u probably won't even use half of the textbooks they give you.

Hi,
I have a few more questions regarding military reimbursement during residency. I talked with my Navy recruiter and he said that yes the navy does have a program in which they pay 25K plus stipent, 40K total, each year during your residency. But for some reason the Navy with not pay for graduates of SGU. Does anyone know if the other branches are similar or different?
Thx.
