Hey guys,
I used to be a hardcore gamer back in college (Yes, I have all the console games and also was also kinda involved in computer games). Don't know if I have the time once I start med school in Aug. Any other gamers here? :oops:

current platforms include xbox and ps2....
not many gamers on the island although some people did bring down ps and n64 while I was there...
not much time to game I would think....too much to study.... more opportunity in clinicals....

I really wish I could do that, however it is just too much of a temptation for me. Couple of games that I really want to play

I am not much of a gamer anymore I have lost interest in playing most games. I do like to collect them though(I am even losing interest in that)

I collect mostly SEGA stuff since I was a big fan.

I have

Sega Master system
Sega Saturn
Sega Dreamcast
Nintendo Game boy pocket
Nintendo intertainment system
Sold my Super NES years ago(I am an idiot since it was one of my favourites)

I have never bought a console all were given to me by friends as gifts(aint I lucky?)

Soon to have a Modded Xbox for running linux and other nonsense along with Panzer Dragoon Orta(since I am a big Panzer Dragoon Fan). It was taken me up to now to get any present generation console since I am jaded most of their games!
I will get a Playstation 2 sometime to start my SEGA game collection there.

What are you talking about man! How can we forget about the old timers. I used to have all the game consoles in the market but gave most of them away to my younger cousins. Panzer Dragoon is dope, one of the better games that came out on Saturn if I remember correctly. We should do a lan party or something, at least the first week during the first week of school :lol:

I'm actually a good player, and usually I end up near the top in kills but I get bored being the good guy. So as I'm preparing to call it quits, I start shooting my teammates. But I don't kill them. I purposely aim at their legs to knock down their health, especially at critical moments in their assaults so if you sneezed on them they'd die. It takes them a while to get it, but dang.. so much fun once they find out what I'm doing.

But normally otherwise, I'm a great defender. Stick me anywhere with any ranged weapon and I'm the devil with hot lead.

Halo was a great experience, and considered by most including myself to be the best game in history but i don't see how anyone can say with a straight face that Bungie will adhere to the nov 9 release date. They have pushed it back so many times it's gotten insulting the last few times.

i totally respect they need time to live up to the first one, which was in dev. from 1997 until fall 2001. just don't keep yanking our chains like this. i have sort of written this one off until such time as i actually see on the walls of EB, or whatever passes for the same in the carib.

on a related note, i must say i enjoyed tremendously the new bond game from feb, and i also LOVED splinter cell 2 (mostly cuz i liked the first so much) but i have NOT been able to get into chronicles of riddick, esc from butcher bay). prob something to do with the app process and the apprehension of the wait (i got the game the day of the interview with my most hoped for school, and since then really just been busy and extremely stressed with loan matters)

Yeah, I have BF1942 as well. I used to play Soldier of Fortune 2, but now I am into Battlefield Vietnam. Yes, I also like to TK right before I'm going to leave. It gives me a sense of satisfaction and makes me laugh. Now that I'm in Dominica with crappy dialup and no time anyways to game, I don't get to play as often as I want. But DSL is coming today, so that might change!
