dear friends, I took the exam on Tuesday, now I want to share my experiences and thank you all for the prayers.
well, I was not luck enough to get the test with majority being pathology, instead, i got lots of Anatomy, genetics, molecular biology and some bioch. and I didn't see many those heavily tested stuff in my test.but overall it is not too bad, if you read through text book once carefullly and really understand it, you will be able to answer most of them. they ask vey basic and detail and twisted questions. for pharma, i got only two antiviral drug, for one they ask a drug that is not in FA, the other drug is in FA, but they ask the side effect that FA does mention, the same thing happened to HAART(I have revised the FA pharm for 5 times, so I know for sure), so for pharma, FA is not enough in my case. anatomy, they asked me at least 5 lower limb questions (spitting...), only a couple MRI, CT, one X-ray, which are pretty easy,oh, did I mention histology? I got quiet a few questions in that subject too. at least 6 ambiguous genital questions, so you better really understand this issue. lots of murmurs...only a few neuroanatomy which is my favorite :(, at most 2 doctor patient relationship questions per block and they are easy...
I did have plenty time for each block, finished each section within 40-50 min. so time was not a issue. the test center is so hot, some test takers even use the scrath sheets as a fan to cool them down... I am a skinny person, so not too bad for me :), one thing I want to remind you is, if you want to take extra coat with you, you better check what kind are allowed in your testing center, I took one, but they didn't allow it because it is a jacket... fortunately, it was hot there :)
my suggetion is: don't just focus on those so called heavily tested stuff, they might mislead you... chances are you might get the atypical test like me, so you better read widely and thoroughly...
well, good luck everyone!!!
