I just had a Q: How does SGU's testing system compare with AUC? Are they on the block schedule that I hear lots of people in the AUC forum complaining about?

SGU students take a Unified 1, then a midterm, then a Unified 2, and then finals. Unifieds are 10 questions from each subject in a 1 hour quiz. Midterms and finals are subject specific, around 75-100 questions in 2.5 hours. Some classes have practical exams in addition to midterms. (i.e. Anatomy, Histology...etc) For midterms and finals, there is at least 1 day (and for some exams a weekend) between each exam for review. I really have no complaints about the exam schedule (but that could be that it's summer break) :-) The only problem was if you screwed up a midterm or final, your course grade was screwed.
