Hey I have two question for you all:
1.) What is the airport like when you arrive at Gernada, is it similar to the airports we have in the states or is it completely different...please explain...thanks!
2.) How does the phone system work at SGU, do you bring your own phone or is one provided for you...and how do you get it connected...is it done already by the school or do you have to find somebody to do this for you?
Thanks for the help

1. Grenada is a tiny airport. Your 1st stop will be at the immigration counter. Bring the two letters school will send you to immigration counter. After that you will have to stand either behind a red or green line. If you are bringing a line you will have to stand behind the red line since you will have something to declare. You will have to pay a 5% tax on the value of your lap top.
2. Most people purchase a cell phone down here. School does not provide phones. If you want a land line and/or a cell phone you will have to arrange that yourself with a phone company. So far there are three companies down here: Cable and Wireless (a.k.a Cable and Useless), Dicigel, and AT&T. Generally, phone company representatives will be on campus during orientation.

Ha ha...if you think that the airport in Grenada is going to resemble anything in the states you are going to be in for a rude awakening.
