Well I just got approved for Medacheiver. It was a long road but I was persistent and it all worked out. I did receive notice this morning and I suppose me and my family will be calling Grand Cayman our home for a year, until we move to Maine. My advice for everyone having problems with MEdAcheiver is to just be persistent...It will all work out in the end...Take Care all...See you in August...

While obviously everyone's credit profile and loan opportunities are different, I really hope your basic point about persistence is true. I'm in the thick of it right now with Medachiever. An $18 collection from six years ago is proving to be far more consequential than I could have imagined then or now. I'm trying to have faith that it will work out, but time is running short.......

Anyone know if that 30 days before class rule is absolutely ironclad? There are last resorts I can and will take like selling my car and some stocks, but I really hope it doesn't come to that.

I agree with jeff. IT is hard when med achiever rejects the loan. BUt seriously just keep at it and DO WHATEVER they say. That is the only way to get it. It is hard and tedious constantly sending in letters, and calling ever where but it is worth it.

I went through the same stuff.

Good Luck everyone see you guys all in august.

Kathy is right...You have to call every day or so and do whatever key bank tells you to do. That is the only way to get approved. I have a friend that had a collection on his report and all he had to do was pay it and then he was approved. I do not know if that is the same as you but talk with key bank and figure out what you need to do,,,soon, and follow through with them. They want to approve you, they are nice people but they can not make exceptions to the rule for anyone or they would have to make exceptions for everyone. Stick with it and be persistent. Good luck.
