Hi everybody-

My name is Steve and I'll be a newbie in September.
35/M
** in Biology/NeuroPhys. from University of Maryland.

I've been checking out these boards for the past couple of weeks and I'm looking forward to meeting my fellow classmates and some of the uppers (if they have time for some poor little newbs) when I get down there.

I have about 7.2 million :shock: questions so you'll be seeing me on the boards alot. Take it easy and enjoy life while we still can!!

any questions let me know, next week is block exams so i'l be busy but make a list and i'l get back to you when i can. i don't particularly like the island but i don't hate it so i think i have a fairly unbiased view....i don't sugar coat stuff and i swear like a sailor (former navy) so if that doesn't bother you i can answer anything you want even though you are a chevy driver.... :twisted:

I dont know dude, your signature says " I hate everything" so that makes me believe you're fairly biased and you're a 4th semester so you hold a bigger grudge than the 1st or 2nd semesters but on the same level as the current 3rd semesters.

Thanks soo much for the info, it makes things much easier for the transition from home to the island, not to mention undergrad to Med school....OMG MED SCHOOL!!

That glare as I stand at the finish line leaning against that shapely z06 and watch you finally cross it!!!

Okay, I guess I'll keep it toned down until at least mid-semseter. I figure by then I'll be completely overwhelmed with Biochem and Anatomy and I won't be able to keep the sarcasm reserves in check any longer. :twisted:

Neuro is why I'm so looking forward to medicine as opposed to being some other grad student. No more pumping out 20 page neuro-reports only to have your conclusion say I don't have a CLUE as to what's going on anymore.

replace headbolts with aircraft grade, and fel pro head gasket, bore out heads, and put an extra fuel pump then let the NOS flow...hmmm nice project idea i just don't like cars that can't pull the front wheels of the ground on launch

You guys better save the money as I heard Dr. Tein or **** the other day telling one of the maintenance staff to gold plate the whole school and as a result the 500 increase might not be enough. Once the gold plated school opening ceremony is done, then we can think about buying atleast a bicycle :lol: 8) :shock: :D

but no one beleives it until they see it....exams coming up are at 9:30 make sure for your own safety to wear shades when you walk into the rotunda between 9 and 10 am, the sun is at just the right angle to reflect off the gold raiders of the lost ark style and may infact cause retinal detachment what do you think happend to dr r?...hehe
