Why is it that seventeen out of the 21 units for the first semester, Anatomy and Biochemistry, both have their tests on the same day for the whole first semester?

Is AUC trying to make it harder than it has to be? Block scheduling wouldn't be that bad for the first semester if they didn't "double dip" so to speak. Or maybe they have been on the island too long and are now doing the "Double Dutch" on the students there.

I'll tell my wife and kids that I love them now because I won't see them until Christmas. Geesh!

What genius thought this schedule up? Did their momma beat them into submission and now all the repressed anger is being misdirected in a sadistic manner toward the students? Maybe they just didn't think it would be that bad and they are really nice compassionate people.

At this time, the whole thing is being re-evaluated by the Dean. I doubt that there will be any significant changes for this semester, but it may show up in a different form for 9/2004...don't hold your breath, though.

I think the way the Dean sees it, if a huge number of people are repeating every class, the students will be getting almost twice the prep as the US schools. Step one scores will fly! It's brilliant really...

Not to mention twice the tuition money going into the gold paint fund
