Just wondering what my chances are of being accepted to SMU. I have a Bachelor's degree in Biology with a GPA of about a 3.3 and overall scince GPA of 3.4 The only thing that worries me is my junior undergrad year where I had to withdraw from most of my courses due to illness? Will this kill my chances and if not then what can I do to properly relay this to the admissions committee

You sound like a strong candidate. Just be sure to address your illness in your personal statement.

Regardless of withdrawing from you classes, your 3.3 and 3.4 GPA's compensate for this.
With strong LOR's, Personal Statement, and Interview, you have a solid chance of gaining admission to SMU.
Good luck!
