Please review Azskeptic articles, and think twice about your future, re-take science courses, and your MCATs if need be, but stay away from these PIRATES of the Caribbeans !!
"They" will suck you dry of your hard earn $$$, provide with little or very poor education, and leave you with HUGE Debt !! and NO RESIDENCY !!!
This can ruin your life and your family life !!
Ask yourself this:
Can I afford 200K of debt, and to lose 4 years of my valuable life, with only 10% chance of return on your investment ???
*** Yes, it is true only 10% of Caribbean grads do land residency, and for the most part these grads are from the top 3 medical schools in the Caribbeans ***
Cheers

how exactly did you come up with this number?.......wait, ok, i see what you're saying. For some reason i was reading 10% per school, but in relation to the whole population......

Remember the 10% rule ??
well in CARICOM, that applies as well....that out of all CARICOM Med students, ONLY 10% land residency, And I'm willing to bet my 10cents, that most of the 10% are from the top 4, Ross being the big "producer", but at least better education than most other Pirates.
Think Twice......ok, in this case...think 10X !!!
before enrolling at ANY offshore medical school.
Cheers ;)

I know you mean no harm, but can you please stop supporting random trolls on the windsor board?
I understand you are not a windsor student, and as such, I am asking you to please "mind your own business"
Thanks.

UHsadoc,
As a senior member you should know better than starting a thread like this one. But, per your post on another forum...22% is pretty bad.
Closing thread.
Not many are matched from AUA or UHSA, think from my class only 25% matched first year, I matched in my 3rd year after graduation...I had to do a research fellowship and complete my MPH, to increase my odds....
and finally got matched in FM....
From talking to few students at AUA, I believe it is the same there as well.....review Antigua's USMLE pass rates...which is 22.9% !!!
Not here to bash any school, I think AUA is doing better, and is evolving and progressing school....but just to keep you well informed about your options....my advice, review the top 3 med schools with long hx of solid performance...
Review programs and Think 10X
Cheers and good luck !!
