Computer

I am going to be attending St. George's starting in August 2005. From students that are already or have been there....is it necessary to purchase a computer? Or are the computer lab facilities adequate enough?

I don't think it was ever absolutely necessary, but I have to admit having one was extremely useful, and at times convenient. Especially now that the school is increasing its wireless and ethernet capabilities.

I especially used it a lot in Vinnie's. There I would bring my computer to class with me and follow along with the lectures on my computer (the power points are available on quick place). I would take whatever notes I wanted to in the speaker's notes section below the slide.
