Hi. I'm a prospective student with two school age children. And I'm
wondering if there are any elementary schools for the children of SGU students. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

I don't know from experience. When I was visiting the island I met a SO with children , one of whom was attending second grade on the island. I asked about schooling and she said it was a big adjustment for her son. Luckily there was another SGU kids in class with him. The mom felt the classes moved a little two slow and so they were sure to do some 'at-home' activities to account for the difference. I believe there are also options for private schools. Like I said, it's not something I have experience with so take my info with a grain of salt. The link below will likely help you find someone who is well versed in your sort of situation. Good Luck!

There aren't too many school-age kids down here (SGU-wise) that i have seen. I know of one couple who sends their son to a school run by missionary Mennonites, just past CK's on the way to grand anse (Limmes Mennonite Church, i think). There is not a real issue with corporal punishment there, as you might find in other grenadian schools. The class size is really small (this kid has 3 kids in his class, i think). I'd suggest you email the SO organization (at the website you were given) and get contact info on SOs with school-age children on the island. Good Luck!
