I am attending SGU's camp medicine this July and I was just wondering what to exept in terms of the campus, the people, the food, the weather... and anything else you think would be helpful. I am a bit scared flying all alone all the way to Grenada!
Thanks!

The campus is small but very compact. There are a lot of buildings, but they are close together. The wweather is perfect, about 85 during the day. Bring rain gear, but it's warm rain. The hotels have upscale restaurants with good food. There are other cheaper places to eat, and there are failry extensive frocery stores along with an open air market on saturday. I don't know what people will be there, as far as current students go. I am sure you will enjoy your time. Bring and use sunscreen, you'll only be 12 degrees north of the equator! I hope you have a great time.

do let us know what you think when you're back. I hear the thing is quite popular. The students will be very nice and the locals are too but very reserved. Dont take that personally. The weather is great and all in all you should have a lot of fun. Use common sence; dont run around at night by yourself just like you wouldnt at most places at home, but its a pretty safe place. JUst go with it and have fun.
all the best and let us know how you enjoyed it.
