Hi, Does anyone know if we need cell biology as a requirement to get into UNIBE med school?

I don't believe that cell bio is required, but check out their website at www.unibe.edu.do hope that helps. as far as i know, general biology is accepted for the bio prereqs

You don't NEED cell biology to get in provided you meet their minumum premedical requirments to enter directly into the medical program. Among these requirements are several hours of genral biology with lab, amoung those hours you MIGHT have cell biology in addition to freshman biology and its labs, but it doesn't necessarily have to be that way. If, however, you don't meet the minimum requirements to enter directly into the medical program and you have not taken cell biology as an undergrad, then you will almost certainly have to take it at UNIBE as part of your "new" premed classes.
