I applied using the online app service on the website. I also used the new electronic MCAT THx to send my scores directly.
Has anyone had any problems with lost or delayed paperwork using this method? I am assuming all the threads that I have seen with this problem involve using the tratitional paper forms. correct?

You can dig up all of my previous posts discussing problems with MEIO. You are not alone. I endured it, as others before me did and ended up here in SXM...
Here are words of advice to minimize the crap.
1) Use FedEx.
2) Find your admissions counselors name and send things directly to her attention.
3) When you think things should have been received. E-mail your admissions counselor and politely ask if it was received. After all, with FedEx you can track online.
4) NEVER, EVER, wait for MEIO to contact you and assume that everything is OK. Many people (myself included) suffered months of worry only to find out that they had lost my application. etc...
You need to take an active role in your application process. It sucks to say this, but it's the truth. You'll save yourself time & worry if you do this.
Good Luck!

Thanks for the suggestions. I just got a call from MEIO the other day and they do not have my MCAT or transcripts yet. As far as transcripts go; I don't think I can send them FedEx being the school sends them directly. At least I can talk(bug) one person since I have a counselor now. :)
Heck man, pop a tent on the bed of my truck and face it to the beach and I am there. :D

They once lost my $1500 deposit check.. you'd think that would be something they'd NOT want to lose.

I think the quality of people working at MEIO varied widely. You hear great things from a few people and absolute hell from others. Try going back on this forum and finding someone by name who is good, then call and always ask for that person.
I remember talking to one guy who told he that he "was looking at my file as we spoke" and it would be AT LEAST a week before the commitee decided on me and that I didn't need to call back untill about then. Later that day, I got my acceptance letter in the mail...

Alright, here's my advice for the desperate:
Send multiple copies of your transcript, LORs, and MCATs (send one each day and pray they will get one of each out of the 7 or so you sent).
Call everyday starting when the first item will arrive. Always request for the same person as they will either be sympathetic towards you or get frustrated with you and finish your application process just to not have to deal with you.

MEIO:
Greg or Michelle for Financial Aid.
Roxanna or Travis for everything else.
Had a pleasant experience with MEIO (although I understand I am the extreme minority here.).
