when you say guidelines, what do you mean? the basic requirements or some of the info put forth as typical of the successful app?

I'm sorry, what I meant was if you had the 3.0 GPA, the good letters, some clinical experience, etc...

Of course, stronger factors can always balance out weaker factors (i.e., the person with a lower GPA but was a Marine Medic for years).
