Hello,
I got a quick question about rotations. Are we required to do all of our core rotations first before we can take electives?
Thanks!

I think there is something about this in the clinical manual. If you go to "Member's Center", then click on "Clinical News" you'll see a link to the clinical manual.
Basically, if you've done a core that the elective falls under, you can do it.
Example: You've done medicine core. Then you can do electives in its subspecialties, like cardiology.
That's what a 3rd year I know did when she was in England. For some reason she was apprently off-cycle and did the cardio elective after doing a medicine core.
If you do your core rotations at a clinical center, then that's not even an issue to worry about.
