this might be frank.. but you have NO chance. they wont even look at you, ESPECIALLY because you dont' have an MCAT or completed an undergrad. In addiition, you attend a school in Asia which most US med schools have no idea of the quality of education.

Typically about 50 students are able to transfer into US schools. These are usually students who barely missed the cut the first time around and then did very well on their Step 1 exam. Without data on this available, Im guessing probably in the 90 or above range. Plus being a US citizen and a resident of the state where the university is probably are solid factors as most US schools have listed that they give preferential treatment to state residents. But you can always try. The worst thing they'll say is no.

Not having an MCAT will hurt you. As most people here have said, those who were able to transfer have borderline stats in pre-med.

you can have a nobel prize.. but if you don't have an MCAT and undergrad, and a US med school accepts you.. they'll sure be under fire for accepting someone with no MCAT and undergrad.
Recently there was a med student who got in from within, without taking the MCAT and was made publicaly, and that was not good publicity for the school.

Agree with the other posters. Some schools (not many) consider applicants who have at least 90 credits of undergrad course. However, with no MCAT score, it is highly unlikely that any U.S. medical school would consider you as an applicant. It doesn't matter that you did well on your step exam or have a research publication. Medical schools have to follow many guidelines to ensure they remain accredited with the LCME (not about D.O. schools...I'm sure they're similar) and the MCAT fits in those regulations somewhere.

this is sad :(
what about Caribbean or poland or Hungarian medical schools?
do you think they worth it?
(i'm currently doing my clerkships in medical program that about 3 years and 2 years return of service is left till finishing, i thought maybe if i transfer to 3rd year there i can finnish in 2 year and apply for residency)

Unless you are being stalked by a violent criminal or something, why leave your current school? You are already in clinicals, and transfer into the Carib (or Hungary) wouldn't likely put you much further ahead from where you are now.

With a great Step One score (and subsequent similar performance on Step 2 cs/ck), you will probably be in really good situation going into the US match as a foreign med grad.
