my friend told me about this school and i know very little about the school, since i got MERP by Ross i decided to find out move about it. They have distance learning for student that already have professional degrees in chiropractic, physician assistant and so on. it's only a 2 year and 1/2 program including clinical rotation. classes are held in Miami once a month.

not sure you are being an undercover advertiser....
but MERP is easily the better choice as you will actually get licensed in the US

no one has told me exactly why i should not do it. i do not have many options since i cannot find a co-signer for MERP

SABA or AUC will work well if you can't get loans for merp

auc is better option as federal loans require less credit. if you are having trouble with MERP loans than SABA might be a challenge as well.

CAAM-HP (http://www.caam-hp.org/assessed_schools.html)
Decision:
The CAAM-HP after examination of the reports determined that it could not grant provisional accreditation for the programme as presented.

You really should go to a school that is accredited in the States if you actually want to work after graduating. I agree with the poster that mentioned trying AUC or Saba.

US doesn't accredit offshore schools but you look at the performance of graduates and realize that SABA, Ross, AUC, SGU have the most grads in residencies and licensed in the US.
What I can't understand is how people can pick medical schools without checking everything on them. Are they recognized where they are (USAT isn't), accredited by local accreditation aency (again the answer is no). has there been lots of negative press (Yes, all you have to do is google and you'll find where there are gads of articles about the problems of this school and its owner on the island of Monserratt).

OK wrong choice of words, what I meant you should choose a school that will get you licensed in the States, which Saba and AUC will do along with SGU and Ross.

Almost have to feel like the OP was trolling around or something. Anyone who does 5 minutes of research would have discovered that this program is too good to be true.

Don't need one for Wells-Fargo's MedCap loan, which is all you need for MERP.
