At the current time is passing the nbme COMP required to take Step 1 at AUC? If so, what score, 62?

Other than passing basic sciences + 5th semester are there any other requirements to sit for Step 1?

I'm getting conflicting info from different people at MEAS. I did searches and they're old, please help.

Yes it has been the rule. It ensures you are ready to take the exam after leaving the island. I am not sure what score is needed, as that can change from time to time. By the time you go to the island and get off, it may change.

Basically you need to pass basic sciences + NBME Comp exam + Kaplan Final Exam to get off the island and get your paper signed that allows you to register for STEP 1.

When I took it a couple semesters ago, it was a 62. You also need to pass the Kaplan comp. The requirements suck, but it's one of the ways that AUC keeps the pass rate high. Most people passed the comp on the first try though, and most of those who did not pass the first time were very close. Of the ones that failed the first comp, most of those passed the second try (you get three attempts). VERY few people (maybe 1 or 2) who make it to 5th semester have an issue passing the comp before the end of 5th semester. I don't know of anyone who made it to 5th semester without failing and didn't pass by the second attempt. It's really not anything to worry about.
