Looking for advice only 2 interviews for IM

I am a soon to be Ross graduate, I have no Visa Issues

Step 1=201
Step 2=188
Step CS-passed

All passed on first attempt

Applied for IM to about 140 programs have gotten only 2 interviews. I applied for all Categorical spots. what advice do people have for me? its already November. an option is to apply for a few preliminary positions? i really aM not sure what to do? Please some advice would be great i am freaking out

apply now for some prelim spots..... Start calling around to the programs to see what your status is. Have you received rejections, or have you just not heard back from programs? Call up the hospital you did your medicine rotations at to see where you stand as well, many places like people they know and who will work well with the current team. Good luck

yes i have gotten about 25 or so rejections of the 120 applicatoins... i added about 15 prelim applications today... what other advice do you have for me? or anybody else who has advice please i would like a few ideas.

apply to small im programs or family med. prelim programs are not the way to go for IM they usually are competitive as they are given to us grads or others lookin to go into advanced positions.
