There is this lady in Roseau that delivers cooked meals to Portsmouth once or twice a week, all you have to do is heat them up. So far every meal my wife and I have ordered has been great. Anyway I thought I would share the menu with everyone and her email. If you email her she also sends specials for the next week. Just thought everyone might want a good meal and a break from cooking.

Linus:

Fortunately you have a wife who is home to accept deliveries. Does the womsn deliver on Saturdays or at night so single folk can get the food ?

I am not sure you would have to contact her and ask her about that. I do know that she does meet people by the shacks to deliver food, but then I guess they would have to go home to put in the refridgerator. Anyway just ask her I am sure she will do what she can to accomadate.

Did you read the post? It is about ordering food that is already cooked. No cooking required, unless you count heating it up as cooking.

Not Flipper! Dolphin fish (a.k.a. Mahi-Mahi)!

Think this refers to the dolphin fish, not porpoise. I have heard that the porpoise is not tasty at all, but i cant say I would be too surprised.

skip has teh right pic. the dolphin that most people think of is flipper. and yes, it is not eaten much anywhere, apparemtly due to poor taste. the dolphin you see in skips pic is very tasty. yes, it is still called dolphin, but is not the "flipper" variety of dolphin.

Ah, ok. Well, Mahi-mahi is quite good, I've had it a number of times. Eating a Flipper Steak would have been interesting even if I had to run from Greenpeace for the rest of my time here.

Anyway, according to my Dominican friend, dolphin/porpoise are one of the worst tasting seafood you can get, even more than the sewer crabs that are running around these summer evenings.

Oh, so those land crabs running around at night are actually from the sewer????
