for those that have started in september of 2009, just curious as to your impression of the school so far..? what have been some of the biggest adjustments you've had to make? how are the classes going?

any sort of relevant information to the questions posted will be greatly appreciated! i'm asking these, because i'll be starting in january...

the school academic-wise is great. Profs really pound the information into you. of course, the courses are extremely demanding. THey also prepare you really well for the shelves, which are exams from the same people making the USMLE exams. The most I had to adjust to was the amount of things you have to learn in one day. it's literally non stop studying once you start life on the island. be prepared and come a few days earlier to get everything ready. in terms of life, as long as you can adjust to eating anything the grocery stores offer, then it's not a huge problem. In terms of entertainment, just get use to the idea of living in a place where entertainment is what you make it, because you won't find any on the island. However, if you are the type that likes the outdoor life, you're in for a treat. Hope this helps.
