I just read this on the member's center of the sgu website. I thought I would post it for those who are interested.
"Firefly WI-FI network "fired up" in Pathology lab!
06/03/2004
We have just "fired up" an extension to the SGU Firefly WI-FI network in the Histology/Pathology lab on the True Blue campus!
This expansion of our existing Firefly network will permit up to 100 students to simultaneously access the Internet and on-campus academic servers in this facility and adds to the existing 20 live wired Ethernet ports that exist there. It now makes that facility ready for a test of the Angel Course Managment System with in-class polling.
In addition, Histology and Pathology students will now be able to access digitzed slides on the SGU "Zoom" server during and outside of class time in this facility.
More expansions of the Firefly network will be announced in the coming weeks."
