I was wondering how good the proffesors are at Spartan, if you could list them and their subjects that would help me greatly.

Spartan has made some great faculty appointments.
The new President is Dean Emeritus from a US Medical School
Highly qualified and experienced faculty have joined and are complementing the existing dedicated group of professors.
The fact that there were high pass rates and very good Step scores, vouch for the excellent teaching standars at Spartan.

To top it all, the tuitions are the among the lowest in the caribbean.
Small class sizes at Spartan give you the advantage of more access to professors for additional help.

The professors are great and very accessible. The most important thing to know about medical school anywhere is that you have to be self motivated and be very proactive about seeking and acquiring knowledge; badger the professors if you do not understand the material. I can tell you from my own experience, the small class sizes have really worked out well for me as far as having more access to the professors. There are some experiences I have had here that I doubt many medical school students even in U.S. based medical schools do get to have. I had a lecture today from a very prominent and very sought after professor and author whose books are actually recommended to and used by not only most U.S. medical schools but other medical schools worldwide. The school has bend over backwards to do what they can to get some professors here to lecture who are the top people in their fields of study.
