Question to AUA transfer students

Hey, I was wondering if anyone else is a transfer student to AUA that has already taken and passed Step 1...and is concerned about residency. People I've talked to have painted a pretty bleak picture for Caribbean transfer students...and I'm just wondering if anyone else has any insight to this. Does anyone know if for example, if you're essentially blacklisted despite how well you do on boards and clinical rotations?

I certainly dont think that's how it works, essentially whatever courses you were to transfer over have to be from a school thats IMED listed. Now saying that, if you want to practice in schools where the school is not ''accredited'' then you'll have problems with obtaining a residency there. Otherwise I think your good.

Thats what I know / think.. if someone can find out 100% that'd be good.

I want to transfer to 5th aswell, but prior to Step 1.
