ok i have to ask this question. i went on an interview for Ross last week, and when we were discussing my academics the gentleman said i had a 2.52 pre req. gpa (like all the necassary core classes to grad-history, math, english etc...) but then he said my advanced bio and chemistry gpa is a 3.13. which will ross look at in order to make a decision? i dont have my mcat scores yet, hopefully in another week, but just based on these gpas what do you think my chances are?
thanks

they will probably consider either, or both. it sounds like there was some improvement, and the advanced classes will probably get more weight.
remember, the average scores for acceptance are pretty low.
I had <2.0 gpa for advanced sciences, if you count the multiple D's, and i got in.

thanks for the quick reply and the info. do you know how they handle repeated courses? i took a bio course and did horribly, D+ but took it over and got a B. do they average the scores, or take the higher? also when looking at science gpa, are all the math courses figured into the gpa, or just the 1 semester that is listed on the website?
