unfortunately residencies mostly look at your step1 scores when comparing candidates, because most US med students don't take step2 until after they've been interviewing. And your step1 is very low. in fact people with your step1 score have a hard time matching into a good IM program. You can apply if you want but don't be surprised when you don't get any interviews.

Unfortunately, I have to agree.
It's not gonna happen with those scores - trust me. Even an american grad from a top 25 school would have trouble - but might get it somewhere.
best of luck!

the only thing that will hurt if you try will be your pocket. I said go and give it a shot. You have a punchers chance.

I agree with azulpanther. Your step 1 score is not competitive for rads, but you should try. Also, try to schedule some 4th year audition electives in rads programs that have accepted non-US grads before for Nov-Jan if possible (it may be too late now, if you haven't already done this).
Have you considered applying to nuclear medicine as well? It's less competitive, and somewhat similar.
If all else fails, and radiology is your burning desire in life, you can always apply for a prelim IM year at a hospital that has taken foreign grads in its radiology program before, spend a lot of time in the radiology dept getting to know the attendings, do your IM elective months there, and apply again next year. Of course this is not a sure thing, and you're gambling on spending an extra year without result in the end so you'll have to weigh the pros and cons. I do know a few people who are doing this.
Good luck!
