So I got here around 3 today and I'm staying in the Marriott and it's a gorgeous place. I'm heading to the school tomorrow to check it out, as well as the city to check out the different stores and whatnot. Any suggestions where I should visit specifically?

Try sitting in on some of the classes, and asking some of the students about their opinions of the school.

Enjoy.

I would also add the advice of sit in on some classes. If you are considering MD1 I would invite you to our anatomy class at 9am. Also for the city just walk around and experience the culture. If you want you can go to Brimstone fort but mostly come to the school and check it out.

Awesome. Sounds good to me. I was planning on just perusing the campus tomorrow and talking to people, and then sitting in on classes on monday. Who in the administration should I talk to while I'm there? And if anyone sees a kid walking around with his dad tomorrow, don't hesitate to say "hey are you swoll68 from valuemd?"

You'll probably have to talk to Dr. G up in Admin. He's to the far right at the end of the hallway in the first building as you walk up - 2nd floor. Dont count on riveting conversation - but at least he's the one to answer all your questions. I get the feeling he's used to students doing nothing but complaining so you'll just have to keep that in mind. Stick around to see the lunch line - its quick comical. And then ride the 1:30 bus back to Royal St. Kitts / Marriott to give you a feel of how the bus system works. Or at least just watch the bus fill up. Also very funny if you dont have to ride in there.

Haha thanks hiphoponomous. Not sure if I can mention people's names on here but I talked to a guy in administration for a while. I'm impressed with the campus so far. I got there right before all the buses showed up to drop the students off so I kind of got a taste of what it's like before it's filled with them and after.

Do you have a camera on you? Take some pictures especially of inside the classrooms there is always pictures of outside. And if you can head on down to Royal Hotel take some pictures.

Yup I do. I took 40+ pictures today of all around the island, inside the labs, etc. There were students in some of the classrooms and I figured they wouldn't want me taking pictures with them in it, so I skipped that. I can always explain the classrooms easily if anyone wants to know what they look like.
