HI GUYS
In order to pursue towards a medical degree, which country is better to study medicine with affordable tuition, not too hard to get in, etc.
Just remembering the fact that after graduating from any of these countries I would like to get a Residency Match in the US.
So, who can help me out, towards getting a good medical degree and obtaining a Residency in the US?
Thanks a lot everyone

Do you have a bachelor's degree? If you don't, I suggest a 6 year B.S./M.D. program in the states..that'll give you the most options. Canadian schools are very competitive and partial to Canadians so I'd forget about going there. Australia is a decent option, the Philippines have a few schools that are approved and cheap. There are also some U.S. schools that have offshore programs in the Middle East and Singapore. I don't know what your definition of affordable tuition is though.

Not to mention that it is incredibly competitive to gain admission to an accelerated or combined B.S./M.D. program in the U.S.
I'll second the other 2 posters regarding the competitive nature of Canadian medical school admission.
I'd say that in order to give you a better opinion, we need to know more about you. Information such as your citizenship status and educational background would help.

Australia is much easier than Canada for med, people who can't get into Canadian med go to Australia or Ireland.

Hi Makiyama San.
Myself Jessica from United States, Medical studies in Canada is very expensive. If you are a medical aspirants, than Australia is a better option, cause the admission is easily available, fees are less and you can get good choice for internship.
Thanks for your post and stay in touch.

Unless you have been volunteering in a hospital since the day you were born, it's almost impossible to get into a Canadian medical school without citizenship.
