Finally, after months of review and rigorous changes the school has made to ensure its placement as among one of the highest rated offshore carribean med schools!!! This accreditation is SO powerful for our status as a school, we are among only 6 schools (including the big three ross, ross, st george) to recieve it!

What does this mean!??!
- MORE STATES AVAILABLE FOR LICENSURE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
- maybe get charged higher tuition now? hahaha who cares?!!

heres a link for those who dont know about this accrediation committee. its the ONLY COMMITEE approved by the W.H.O./E.C.F.M.G/countless other organizations basically the most rirgorous/grueling/strict accrediation commitee which focuses primarily on all dental schools and med schools in the carribean region!!!!!!! the entire UK and MANY MANY U.S. states require this accreditation for easy eligibilty and ability to attain licensure to practice in their respective borders!!!

*For example, the state of mississippi stated (on their website) that for off shore med schools to gain licensure and have the ability to practice in their state, the school needs to be accepted by the state of california, or have accreditation by CAAM-HP.

There are SOO many avenues this will take us and so many more doors that will open for our school. Finally, we get to respect we deserve!!!

HIGH FIVE St. James!!!!!:clapover:

For all those who bashed our school calling it a scam and what not. How about you look at our track record, how many graduated and got licensed, attained high residencies.......FOR A SCHOOL THAT ONLY OPENED UP in 2002 or 2001 im not sure which. BUT THAT MY FRIENDS...is called SUCCESS..

btw....next years match for residency has over 40 students from st james.

ONCE again, congrats st. james, we can DEFINETLY hold our heads up high on this one!!!!!!

heres the LINK!!!!!

Sorry to burst your bubble, medschooolmania, since you're on such a high, but.... CAAM has no authority in Bonaire, or anywhere in the Antilles. The accreditation is provision for the development of the Anguilla campus. It is NOT for the Bonaire school. Also, what you wrote about MS state isn't true either. Check the MS licensing board website, they changed their minds about that rule.

If anyone was wondering about MS approved med schools (SJSM is there, but only the Anguilla campus)

Go to: msbml.state.ms.us/approvedmedschools.pdf

Sorry, it wont let me post a link since I have less than 20 posts

yeah that really means nothing, and it means the Anguilla campus is open to enroll students.

I remember when i was a student there (bonaire) a "team" came to inspect.
no joke, the professors told us to take out the microscopes in our histo class and pretend to use them. hahah That was the last time we ever took those scopes out. Come to think of it that was the last time i heard of a team coming to check out the school.
