All those who are planning to go to st.maarten and those who are there. Make sure you all live out your rental deposits. There are rental agencies famous for NOT returning deposits. Companies like American managements in tradewind apartments and fisherman warf and some others. They have not returned deposits of many auc students, you can't fight with them on the island and you will have to leave immediately after you finish your basic sciences.

There are some very poor landlords here, so please, when you rent a place, get explicit details on your deposit. And if you can't hammer those details out, you might want to look elsewhere. If you leave the island with a 'promise' that your money will be mailed out in 30 days or so... well... you run a serious risk of ending up with nothing. :(
