I am graduating in June 2010 from UofT (toronto Canada) and I hope to start medical school in sept 2010.My goal is to practice (and do residency in) Family Medicine in ontario canada

My gpa is 3.18 for the 3 years (i'm currently in 4th year)
My mcat went horrible ( i booked it but did not have a chance to study for valid personal reasons) 19N (biological science-8,ps5,vr-6)
3 years of clinical research with a neuropsychologist in a clinic
6 months hospital volunteering
many Ecs including student clubs and i was a soccor coach for kids for 3 years.

With my stat I know i cannot get into a US or canadian school(though i have applied in ON).

SO my question is:
-Can i get into one of the big four caribbean schools (ross, saba, sgu, auc)with my current stats for sept 2010 semester if I apply this month in october? If so which schools do a have a serious shot at?
-If that doesnt work out, should i re-write mcat in january and apply to big 4 again? or look into other caribbean schools (umhs, uhsa, mua) with my 19N if the big 4 reject me?

Please help, I really want to start medical school in sept 2010 (even may 2010, if i have too)

Any advice from current or accepted students is appreciated.Only serious answers please. Thanks in advance for your help.

good grief!!! did you plaster this same post on EVERY fora?? one it is against TOS to spam the fora and two many of the fora that you post on have "what are my chances?" threads for just such questions...you may be new but you really should try to see how things are done on the different fora and post appropriately.

can a mod clean these redundant threads please?

Sorry about that, I should have located the threads of what are my chances in each forum...How can i move it? I 'm not sure how to correct this, any help is appreciated.

Also i just wanted to get some idea from students that got into each of those schools, as they all might not read forums from each school.

Thanks for understanding I'm a "newbie".
